Hey, Love your program and decided to buy it. I was using the trial and it worked flawlessly until today. I have a NAS and my source files (usually MP3) and my iTunes Library on on the NAS. I create my project on a temp dir on the NAS, Add Files from another Folder, and have ABB ask for folder during creation, which I output to my iTunes Music folder. This has been working flawlessly, until today. All of a sudden, ABB can niether read or write to the NAS while all other apps and OS operations are unaffected. Strange. I tested ABB running everything locally on the Macintosh HD with no issues. Any ideas? Edit: ABB seems to be reading from the NAS again ok, but not writing... chunk file error. |

Could be read/write errors across the network. Audiobook Builder's a pretty intense writer (and no slouch at reading) during a build - and a few extra concerns come up when building across a network. Much of the writing is under QuickTime's control...and when it fails we don't usually get to know why. Lets see what we can dig up. Can you get Audiobook Builder to fail again, then send a full System Profiler report to support@splasm.com? To create the report launch /Applications/Utilities/System Profiler.app, choose "Full Profile" from the View menu, then select "Save..." from the File menu. |
