Hello,

bought the Audiobook app - Fantastic!. converted my imported CD's to books and all appear in the Ipod menu under Music-AudioBooks. The only problem is when I listen a whole book the Ipod automatically starts playing the next book.

Is there a setting when I make the book so that it doesn't auto move onto the next book or there something on the ipod I need to do.

Thanks,
Terry

I'm experiencing the same issue on an iPod Classic 160GB and when playing back via iTunes 9.1. On my iPhone 3Gs the files start to play back staccato, with gaps every second or so.

I was able to fix this issue by re-encoding the original VBR mp3 files as AAC in iTunes. I then created the audiobook again using the re-encoded AAC files as the source files, and the new audiobook works just fine.
