Hi, I purchased Viddyup to help transfer video to my iPod so that I could watch them on my bedroom TV. I have not had success in being able to convert mp4 files and get them to load onto my ipod. So, i put them through viddyup, it did the conversion and the files appear to be blank and are only 40mb instead of 523. I have a Mac Mini with Snow Leopard, iTunes version 9.02 and a 8 gig iPod Nano that is current and empty. I also have some avi files that i want to convert to play on my ipod and the faq's say that i need DiVX converter to do so. I have a paid version of DiVX which doesn't work with the new snow leopard (files just hover at 50% forever) and is a problems that DiVX has not been able to solve for me. Do I need to convert avi files through DiVX first, then put them through Viddyup? Thanks for reading... |

For AVI files we recommend installing Perian (visit http://www.perian.org ) and disabling the DivX QuickTime components (move them out of /Library/QuickTime/ and relaunch ViddyUp!). MP4 files should process fine through ViddyUp!. Can you send us a link to one of the MP4 files you've tried so we can test with it here? Thanks! |
