Balance your Accounts at will with a streamlined reconciliation workflow. Enter your statement ending balance, mark transactions as cleared, whittle your unreconciled total down to zero, and you're done.

Second and fourth Wednesday of every month? Not a problem. Third Sunday of every other month? Why not? If you can imagine it, you can schedule it.

Track cash flow over time with customizable reports so you can see where your money came from and where it's going. View your reports onscreen, print to paper, or create a PDF to archive or share.

Create documents from Quicken for Mac 2015 or later, Quicken Essentials for Mac, or QIF/QMTF documents exported from older versions of Quicken or other personal finance managers and CheckBook will set up your accounts for you.

Start with any location you can save to on your Mac - we recommend your Documents folder. Move to a cloud storage location, such as iCloud Drive, if you like.

You’ll never have to look for a Save command because CheckBook handles the job for you.

Without a copy of your work on our end, your privacy is entirely up to you. Cloud storage is completely optional.
Requirements
You're gonna need a Mac.
Works on OS X 10.11 El Capitan or later.
macOS 14 Sonoma is fully supported.
We recommend macOS 11 Big Sur or later.
CheckBook runs great on Apple Silicon and Intel processors.
CheckBook is not for Microsoft Windows or Linux.

I was using Microsoft Money for 15 years. Money was a very good program. I recently switch from Windows to Mac and needed a new checkbook program. Yes, I balance my checkbook every month! No problem importing by Money database. After a little learning cutve, I'm extreaming happy with the program. You can make nice summary reports too.

Easy to use and everything needed for cashflow managment. Really exhausted by the annuity revenue model being hosited upon us like an on going tax payment. I was on quicken 2010 when intuit terminated the ability to backup the registers. So now I use Checkbook!
